Stop your car, move it
to a safe position near the location of the accident. The law
requires that you stop at the accident scene; failure to do so
could result in a traffic ticket or a warrant for your

damage, ask someone to call the police or highway

location. If necessary, call 911 for medical

number of the towing company.

Try to keep a pad and pencil in your glove
compartment. Write down the following items:
Names, addresses and phone numbers of all
drivers and passengers involved in the accident. Car license
numbers, make and model of each car involved Operator's drivers
license number and insurance policy number.
Do not admit fault. Give details of the
accident and cooperate with the police in providing answers to
their questions.
Names and addresses of as many witnesses as
possible
Names and badge numbers of police, you may
ask the police officer's name, phone number, and the police
report number
If you have camera in your car, take pictures of
all the car involved in the accident and the accident
location.
